The Federal holiday was a day off for many and the blue skies and near-40 degree temperatures were a welcome relief after the icy snowfall on Saturday.
After midnight, temperatures will dip to the mid-20s, with a chance of freezing rain after 4 a.m.
Up to a quarter-inch of rain is expected on Tuesday, with a high of 36 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent with winds out of the east at 7 mph.
There's a 40 percent chance of rain on Wednesday before 3 p.m., with a low of 31 degrees. It will be mostly cloudy with winds out of the north at 3-7 mph.
It warms up on Thursday, with more sun than clouds and a high of 44 degrees.
Friday brings more clouds as temperatures drop to a high of 36 degrees. There's a 30 percent chance of showers.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the temperatures are expected to hover in the low 40s and bring a mix of sun and clouds.
